FEMWe have wide experience in using finite element methods (FEM) for various applications. Our main analysis tool is ANSYS, a good general-purpose finite element system capable of solving a large variety of engineering problems. We frequently use ANSYS coupled with ROpt to solve structural optimisation problems. Other simulation systems used by us in cooperation with our customer projects include ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, RADIOSS and MADYMO.
FE simulations are versatile and can be used to evaluate different types of structural designs. It can solve everything from simple linear single body problems to advanced assemblies with contact and dynamic effects. Materials can range from strictly linear to higly othotropic nonlinear composites with hysteresis and creep properties. The scope of the analysis is adjusted to the details of each situation and requirements of the product.
